We all use a different set of apps for fun and productivity, but there’s usually at least a few that we continue to come back to. Here are 5 of my favorite Android apps that I use regularly.

Unified Remote

Turn your smartphone into a wireless universal remote control for your PC.
This fantastic app lets you use your phone to control your PC. Perfect for a home media center. I mainly use the “Basic Input” remote to control the mouse and keyboard of my media center PC. It has a very smooth and intuitive feel.

Astro File Manager

Organize, view and retrieve all of your pictures, music, videos, & documents; built-in app backup & task killer; manage all your files regardless of where they are stored (in a cloud or on another device).
This incredibly useful app gives you access to the entire file system on your device. Now you can finally manage all of your files like a grown-up.

Instead of having to hunt down for news, feedly aggregates the contents of your favorite sites and delivers them as a fast mobile-optimized experience.
With the beautiful UI, it’s a pleasure to find and browse interesting news articles using the Feedly app.

Nextdoor is the free, private social network for you, your neighbors and your community.
Nextdoor is an awesome new social network, yes another social network. This one’s different though, it’s meant to be used by your real neighbors. It’s a great place to find and share uber local news and to interact with those people nearby.

Draw Something

The most popular social drawing and guessing game on Android.
Don’t download this app if you suffer from an app addiction disorder. It’s a super simple and super fun way to play with friends.
